This is my fave dream of all: The Green Fluffy Blobs A green fluff ball peered out in the playground. Emma poked it with a nearby stick, and it opened its large flashy eyes. The blob made a click noise, like the noise a camera makes. She froze for a few seconds, and then BANG, she disappeared. Meanwhile, in a house not far from the playground, Alice Woods packed her bags. She told her family she was going away for a while. She had a secret, a secret that she too has been ‘photographed’ by a fluffy ball. She knew their secret, the green balls of fluff. Up, up, up in the sky, a girl appeared in a school-like spaceship. Alice was that girl, and she was ready. Around her were three girls she recognised, and a group of boys. One of the girls was Catrin; another was Little Emma and her friend, Katie. “Hello, you have come just in time for the ceremony, if you would sit in this pool, Alice,” said Catrin. Alice carefully made her way to the pool of water, and surprisingly, when the girl sat down, she didn’t get at all wet. A group of crazy adults ran into the room, acting like monkeys. They were all shouting Hooray. A light shone down on Emma and Katie and they turned into green blobs. “Go down, go down, my sisters and bring us more victims, as for you Alice Rebecca Woods, you won’t feel a thing!” sniggered Catrin who immediately turned into a green blob. Suddenly the water of the pool went a dark green colour, and a hat was placed on Alice’s head. She felt a tug at her head and a chip downloaded a language into her head. Alice knew this was coming and lay in wait for the next ‘lessons’. Catrin smiled and whispered, “Well done,” in fluff ball language. “Your name is now Alaca peepoo, Okay?” ‘Alaca peepoo’ didn’t bother with names or anything; she just wanted to move onto the next lesson and save the world. At that moment, Emma and Katie beamed back up to the spaceship with a boy called Jack and his twin, Amy. “Excellent, Emack and Karkee, those two can join in with Lesson Two!” Alice looked hypnotised while Catrin plugged the children in at the big screen. Underneath the metal hat on Alice’s head, the perfect thing to stop hypnotism was slid under her huge baseball cap, a swimming cap. Amy and Jack were done for, but it was to stop, the quicker the lessons ended, the quicker Alice could save Earth. The screen switched on. An image of the three children appeared and a sentence written in green ball language emerged into view. ‘Stop, hypnosis not complete’. “Drat. It was going so well!” whispered Alice. Immediately, a group of green fluff balls jumped on Alice and Catrin turned into a colossal Troll. A light was flashed onto Alice’s pale face and it turned green and fluffy. The laughter of the army of fluff balls subdued the high-pitched scream of the poor girl. Back on earth, Danielle Woods was searching through her older sister, Alice’s cupboard. Danielle was searching for her sister’s money bank, but instead found an old battered notebook that had the words ‘The mission of the Nowd’ written across the cover. I must find them, the Nowd are powerful creatures and will do anything for power. I believe that there was an attack in the school 12/6/07. If they have found their way to Marford, we are in grave danger. I will go to their spaceship and learn how to be a Nowd. They are orbs the colour of really rally green grass and are as furry as birds.
