I want to tell you about a horse named Bill. Bill stands about 17 hands tall not to mention how big around. He is a gentle giant palimento. I hope the spelling is correct. Bill touched my heart the first time I saw him. He just looked inviting and friendly. I am only 11 years old but I thought what a nice horse he would make for a big kid like me. I am a hufty 11 year old kid. I decided to try to make friends with him and get use to him and his enormous size by giving him treats and big chuncks of hay more often then the rest of the horses here. The problem was after a while he looked more forward to the treats than me. I was so sad but not one to give up easy. I got un on the fence to try to climb that big back of his. When he felt me there he moved so quickly I almost did the splits. Tearing my genes at the same time did not make for a good sight there. After several attempts I got flustriated and complained to my sister about him. I said that is a really cool horse but I don't think he likes me much. She smiled and say Oh James he will like you fine he is blind and needs a little work and not touched over fast cause he doesnt know what to do. I said, blind that explains it. Two months have passed, Sweet Will like my sister calls him now he got a girly name. Bill will do fine for me, no I better say Sweet Will cause sister will kick my butt. He is so cool, he rides me all around and does all kinds of things I am even starting to learn to jump on him. Imagine that jumping on a blind horse. I guess he really is Sweet Will. |
